I'm Peppa Pig.
2
This is my little brother, George.
3
This is Mommy Pig.
4
And this is Daddy Pig.
5
Peppa Pig.
6
Peppa and George are having a sleepover
7
at Granny and Grandpa Pig's house.
8
Grandpa, where are you going?
9
It's bedtime.
10
Don't worry, Peppa.
11
I'm just going into the garden to collect slugs and snails.
12
Why?
13
Grandpa doesn't like slugs and snails
14
because they eat his vegetables.
15
And the best time to find them is at night with this torch.
16
Can George and me come, too? Please?
17
Okay, just this once.
18
Put your coats and boots on.
19
Peppa and George are wearing their coats
20
and boots over their pyjamas.
21
You carry the bucket, Peppa, and I'll hold the torch.
22
Don't stay out too late, Grandpa Pig.
23
Okay, Granny Pig. Okay, Granny Pig.
24
We'll put all the slugs and snails in the bucket.
25
Ah...
26
...one little snail.
27
Two little snails.
28
And a slug. Blecch!
29
Slugs are yucky.
30
Here are Grandpa Pig's chickens
31
Sarah, Jemima, Vanessa and Neville.
32
Hello, chickens.
33
I need to put the chickens to bed.
34
'Night, 'night, chickens. 'Night, 'night, chickens.
35
'Night, 'night.
36
Why aren't the slugs and snails in bed, Grandpa?
37
Because they're up all night eating my vegetables.
38
Some animals eat in the daytime, like my chickens,
39
and some animals eat at night, like
40
Oh! Mr. Fox.
41
Hello, Grandpa Pig.
42
Putting your chickens to bed, are you?
43
Oh, yes, nice and cozy in their henhouse.
44
Jolly good.
45
Well, I'll be on my way.
46
Goodnight. Goodnight.
47
Now, as I was saying, some animals eat at night like
48
Oh, hello?
49
Grandpa, there's a little animal in your bucket.
50
Ha, ha, yes. It's a hedgehog.
51
They like to eat slugs and snails.
52
Hello, Hedgehog.
53
Oh, he's rolled into a ball!
54
Yes, Peppa, he's very shy.
55
Come out, Mr. Hedgehog. Don't be scared.
56
I like hedgehogs.
57
They are very good at keeping slugs and snails
58
off my lovely lettuce.
59
Bye bye, Hedgehog. Bye bye.
60
Are there any more night animals, Grandpa?
61
Yes, there are moths.
62
Ooh, they look like butterflies.
63
Butterflies that come out at night.
64
They like the torch light.
65
When it goes off, they leave.
66
When the light goes on, they come back.
67
Can I try? Okay.
68
Bye bye, moths.
69
Hello, moths.
70
Bye bye, moths.
71
And if we leave the torch off,
72
we can see another very tiny night animal.
73
Where?
74
Look up at the sky.
75
Is it a sh**ting star?
76
No, that is a firefly.
77
Is it on fire?
78
Oh, h*, no, Peppa.
79
It has a tummy that glows. Wow!
80
Are there any big night animals in your garden, Grandpa?
81
No.
82
Oh, what's that?
83
It's a big night animal.
84
Oh, h*, it's Granny Pig.
85
There you are.
86
Granny! Granny!
87
We've been saying hello to all the night animals.
88
Lovely.
89
But now it's time to say goodnight to them.
90
Goodnight, night animals.
91
And it's well past bedtime for you little piggies.
92
Yes, Granny Pig.
93
Goodnight, little ones.
94
Goodnight, Granny. Goodnight, Grandpa.
95
'Night, 'night.
